App reviews, troubleshooting, and recommendations
Hi Shopify Team & Community,
We submitted our app for review on April 26 through the Shopify Partner Dashboard. For the next 9 days (until May 5), the status remained "Waiting to assign a reviewer."
On the night of May 5, a reviewer was finally assigned, and they pointed out a minor bug.
We fixed the bug and resubmitted the app the very next morning (May 6).
Now, it's May 14, and the app is still stuck in the "We're reviewing your submission—check your email for updates" status. There has been no further communication, and no installation attempt from the reviewer so far.
This delay is becoming extremely frustrating. We are unable to finalize our launch timeline, plan our marketing efforts, or proceed with any go-to-market strategies because everything hinges on this approval.
Can someone from the Shopify team please look into this or at least give some clarity on the expected timeline for the re-review?
We truly appreciate the review process and want to comply with all standards, but the uncertainty is affecting our business planning.
