App reviews, troubleshooting, and recommendations
We are encountering an issue with the Translate & Adapt app, and especially with the metafields translation there.
We have a case where we need to translate some metafields from a 3rd party app that we added in the store, however the metafields are now shown in the Translate & Adapt > Store metadata section. it seems like the limit for this has been reached and the newest added metafields are now showing and available to be translated.
Is there an option for these to be refreshed, or re-synced with the most updated ones? Is there a filtering option so the new metafields can be previewed in the Translate & Adapt settings?
Thanks in advance!
Hello there,
Thanks for the suggestion.
As mentioned, the settings you suggest that we look for simply do not exist in the Translate & Adapt app.
The compatibility with the other app that we are trying to translate is checked and working, as long as the limit of the metafields in the T&A is not reached and the metafields from the other app are loaded in the translation app settings.
As a suggestion from our end there should be no limit on the number of metafields that can be translated via the T&A app as this can cause inconvenience for many users not only for translating the app in question but also for translating metafields they add and need for their products and other elements in their stores.
Please let me know if such an update is planned to be done on Shopify's end. Even if the option for increasing the limit is made a paid option it will still be of big help for this.
We will be looking forward t your update on this.
