Two products but different variants automated

I'm looking for a way to combine two Art canvas's of the same Graphic and have the option to choose between two types of frames. The two types of frames come from separate providers, and I would like to be able to avoid listing the product twice in the store. I know you can manually add a variant and the sku to the product but is there a way to some how automate this where it combines the two products to make it one with the different variants? Hope this makes sense as I have an online art store which I'm expanding to have more print options.
