Unable to update the secure store: The file was externally modified

Hello!

I faced with the problem - when I created new custom  app locally and execute "npm run dev" it allows me to login to my shopify account but in terminal error occurs like "Unable to update the secure store: The file was externally modified "

Do you have any idea how to deal with such error? What file is it talking about? Why can't it update secure store? I really don't know what to do with such error?

Try the command - shopify upgrade. It helped me
