Variable price product, value created by purchaser

We want to add a product that the purchaser can enter in the value.  It is our physical gift card that we will 'value' and ship when fulfilled.  Even thought the product will be called a gift card on our site it won't act/function like the gift card apps I have looked at so any app offering this functionality would work.  My thought is this would be similar to someone doing a fund raiser and any amount can be entered?  would love to find an easy solution as we prefer not to have to offer 'set' value gift cards.

Regarding your concern, I have tried doing some research and found out these 2 apps: Batch and Product Auction App, you can give it a try.

thanks for the suggestions.  I would have to play around to see if we could change to not seem like an auction, rather just enter in your own price.
