VBA macro - Automating export from Shopify

Hello everyone, 

Has someone developed a VBA macro to export the data from Shopify Admin? Is it possible? Is it reliable as well? 

Does it require a lot of knowledge in computing/coding?

I'm considering this option because apparently Matrixify & co do not export the same data as Shopify Admin...

Rebeka here from Matrixify app.

The data in our exported file comes directly from the Shopify API, so the data will definitely be in the export as it is in the admin.

Could you please reach out to our Matrixify support  to see the exact requirements and maybe our export file could provide the exact fields you are looking to export.

We can see that you have sent a support ticket but there is no further reply, we would definitely be happy to help you show where such data can be obtained in our export, but due to the amount of data that we allow to export, the order export file has a relatively complex file structure and it really could not be suitable for all use-cases.

No, Matrixify do not export the same data as Shopify Admin. I've tried many times, many parameters and none works.

Matrixify does Export the same data as in your Shopify Admin, however, the app may not Export in the same sort of template as Shopify. The data itself is definitely the same though. It is possible to modify the template and format of the data after it has been Exported with Matrixify though.

Not too familiar with VBA macros but I've done a bit of shopify integration stuff with google apps script / google sheets. It's surprisingly easy.
