Watermark/ Branding trade

Hey guys, 

Can someone let me know if an embedded app can put some sort of watermark or branding on the merchant storefront or not?

Yes, an embedded app can add a watermark or branding to a merchant's storefront by:

1. Modifying theme files (Liquid, CSS, or JavaScript).
2. Injecting scripts via the Shopify Admin API.
3. Using widgets or overlays managed by the app.

This requires merchant consent and appropriate permissions to edit themes or insert scripts. Shopify policies prohibit unauthorized changes.
