What are the best payment options for a new online store?

Hi guys

What are the best payment options to use on a shopify store. It's a very new store - I just need to gauge whether we use google pay, pay pal or both and what the commission rates are?

I'm sure the Community will be happy to provide you with some awesome feedback on this. Could you share the region you are operating from, as gateways tend to differ in availability in different regions.

If you were looking to use Apple Pay or Google Pay you can read more about these accelerated checkout options here. In most cases, they are available exclusively to merchants using Shopify Payments, so if you are in a supported region, I highly recommend this gateway. You can read about the rates here, it will vary depending on your plan.
