What is a good alternative to CartBot for direct checkout functionality?

Hello,

I am currently using/testing Cartbot to add an item to the cart (packaging item, so fulfilment know what packaging to use). It works fine when shoppers first go to the cart and then to checkout. But I also have a direct to checkout feature on the page. If they click that then the item does not get added. I check with Cartbot and they confirm that their app doen't work in that instance.

Who know an app that also works when shoppers bypass the cart and directly go to checkout?
