What's the best affordable filter menu app for expanding online stores?

Hi, 

I'm currently expanding my store's offering and so to make it easier for my customers to navigate all the products I wanted to add a filter menu like this

Can anyone recommend an app which could do this.  I tried Shopify's Search and Discovery app but it was so difficult to navigate I lost the will. I don't have huge amounts to spend on this and I don't need anything really fancy and complicated just a bog standard filter menu.
