App reviews, troubleshooting, and recommendations
I need to increase the subscription price of my app on Shopify to maintain quality, as the cost of resources (CDN, EC2, etc.) has become too high. However, I don’t want this change to affect my loyal customers who subscribed from the start, so I’d like to keep their original price. What should I do?
I actually thought about creating a package with a different name, like changing "Business" to "Startup," where the limitations of Startup would be identical to those of Business, but the price of Startup would be 30% higher. However, I understand that this might be unnecessary since I can increase the price directly on the Business package without affecting existing subscriptions. This approach would also save me from coding and maintaining multiple packages. Is this correct?
