When Sales Channel I cannot see orders through the API

Hi all,

We have an app in the Shopify App Store where we need the Storefront API. The only way to achieve this is to convert the app into a Sales Channel.

I have permissions to read and write orders (I even have the read_all_orders scope) with this app. But when I lookup orders with the generated Access Token I am not able to see orders that were created in the store.

Can I only see orders created with my own saleschannel? Even when I have all the right permissions? There is no documentation on this element that I can find.

Do I miss something here?
