I just took a moment to read through your post and feel like I can provide you some help here! Shoes are definitely an interesting product to dropship! I'm not surprised that options for them may be limited - it's a product with a heavy followig online, and people are very critical of shoe quality. With that being said, I do have some suggestions below that you may find helpful to fill your needs here.
Syncee - This is an app that appears to have a decent selection of shoes! It's a well-rated dropshipping service within our App Store, so it could do the trick for you! If you're curious about where this service fulfills their orders from, it appears that they do have some suppliers in the US, as well as Europe and the rest of the globe. I'd give these folks a look!
Gooten - This is a service I looked at in the past while building an online store. I was blown away by the printing options they had for products, and they do offer a prety large selection of mens wear and athletic wear. I recommend giving them a look and seeing if they're can cover some of the clothing bases that those other services aren't currently.
