Where to put app blocks check code in new app structure?

Hello Everyone, 

As per the public app development guide, the app block support verification code must be there.

Shopify recently changed its app templates for all Node, PHP, and Ruby languages.

So I started developing an app from scratch.

I was just wondering if the below link misses the file name where we should put the code:

Also, the above link uses the ShopifyAPI instead of ShopifyApp

More on this, I am surprised that Shopify is mentioning that the Shopify Reviews Example app shows this feature, but this app on GitHub shows the old structure of the app which is quite frustrating.

Can someone put some light on this?

Where to put this code so we can check if the theme supports app blocks or not and redirect them to a page mentioning the information?

Any help is appreciated.
