Why am I facing syncing errors between WordPress and Shopify?

I am trying to sync Shopify to the subdomain https://alexthomasshopify.webdevelopmentatc.com/wp-login.php. Shopify is connected, but when trying to sync detail pages in WordPress with Shopify, we get the following error: cURL error 6: Could not resolve host: https. The subdomain has a secure connection, and tech support for my host SiteGround confirmed that all looks good on the server with security.
