Why am I getting sales notifications from unlisted products in Lightspeed?

Hi, I’m looking for some help. I’ve just connected Lightspeed retail x series (old Vend) to our shopify account. The shopify isn’t live yet, but for some reason when a sale is made in the brick and mortar store through vend of a product which is not even listed on shopify, I am getting a notification of this ale through Shopify. Seems a bit odd…has anyone experienced this and /or know how to fix? Thanks in advance.
