Hi. Not sure why it says I’m not eligible for Tik Tok shopping. Please see attached screenshot. Many thanks.

Which region is your business based in?

 

TikTok Shopping is a pilot program and is currently only available to eligible merchants in the US and UK. Once merchants sign up for TikTok Shopping, their account will be manually reviewed by TikTok to ensure that they meet specific criteria as set by TikTok.

 

While TikTok plans to make Shopping available to more countries, there is currently no specific timeline that's been shared about the team's plans on global expansion. In the meantime, you can keep an eye out on our Changelog here for the newest releases on Shopify.

 

Does your store currently integrate with any other social media platforms? If not, you could also look into selling on other platforms, such as Facebook and Instagram, if your store is eligible for it. I'll leave some resources below for further reading on this:

Hello Kimi

 

We are based in the U.K. and already selling on FB and Instagram. Not sure why it’s not working for Tik Tok. Any advice please?

TikTok Shopping is currently still in Beta, or early access, so not all merchants will be eligible for this feature as TikTok manages which accounts will be invited to the Beta. If you'd like more information on the waitlist and to check your account eligibility, you'll need to reach out to TikTok directly as all decisions are made by the TikTok team.

 

You can contact TikTok support from the support portal here, or via the Get Support button within your TikTok app on your store's Shopify Admin.
