Why are there no apps for Online Hotel / Flights Bookings on appstore ?

why are there no apps that offer Online Booking service to book Hotels, Flights etc on Appstore Or does shopify does not allows this ?

To be clear, the Shopify App Store is filled with apps by made Shopify, and apps made by our amazing Shopify Partners, to enhance the shopping experience of customers, or the management experience of merchants.

With the above information considered, an application for online hotel or flight bookings wouldn't be something to be found in our app store, as it wouldn't be something that hits on the two goals apps in the app store hope to achieve. 

Are you curious as to why there are no hotel/flight booking applications for people to use in their stores? If this is the case, do you mind me asking why you would hope to find such an app available in the app store?

So, What this would mean is Shopify would be able to support mostly "Product Commerce" and might not be a great fit for Service Commerce, like those intending to launch a travel intermediary website.

I think I can help answer your question. While Shopify is a great platform for online stores, it may not be the best platform for booking hotels and flights. Typically, apps for booking flights and hotels are found in app stores specific to those industries, like Expedia, Kayak, or Booking.com. However, you may be able to integrate these services into your Shopify store through third-party apps or plugins. It's always worth exploring your options to see what works best for your business. Or still, you can search for hotels and flights separately, as I do. I've recently come across a business class flights webpage, and they have pretty good deals.
