Why aren't my products displaying in my store despite being active?

I don't know if I'm posting in the right board as the choices make little sense. I'm not a techie person and API and SDK mean nothing to me. I chose apps as I'm using the Oberlo app.

 

I'm importing products from AliExpress using the Oberlo extension. They are showing in my product list but not in my store. I have made sure the status is active and they are showing up as ticked in the 'Sales Channels and Apps'. Does anyone know how to rectify this issue please?

Thank you Imogen - I've sorted the problem. I chatted to someone at Shopify
and found that the reason they weren't appearing was because I hadn't
assigned them to a collection. I'm afraid technology and I are not the best
of friends.

Thanks for reaching out to the Community for some assistance with your Oberlo and AliExpress Products! This is a great place to come for any questions you have with your Shopify store, or anything Shopify related at all. 

 

I appreciate all of the information you provided in your post. I just have a couple questions I want to ask so we can work towards finding a solution for why your products aren't appearing: 

 

  • You mentioned that the products are showing up in your 'product list'. Is this the product list that's visible within Oberlo? Are you able to provide a screenshot of this list? 
  • Where exactly are the products not appearing? Are they not showing up as products available to purchase in your Shopify store? You mention making sure they were set to 'active' and that they were available to the correct channels. Please provide a screenshot of the product settings in your Shopify Admin for one of these products that doesn't seem to be appearing or behaving as expected. 

I'll keep my eyes peeled for your reply so we can keep working to figure out what may be going on here.
