Why can't GA4 find my properties when linking with Google Shopping?

I am attempting to connect Shopify with GA4 through Google Shopping, GA4 only. However, it is saying no properties are found. I am using the same email for Google Analytics and Shopify, and this email does have admin access to Google Analytics. What can I do? Suggestions?

I had the same problem. After scratching my head for hours I was finally able to resolve the issue. Here's how;

I use a chrome browser on a desktop that I also use for personal stuff. Unbeknownst to me, my chrome browser was still signed into my personal email account while I was setting up my Google analytics on Shopify. So it used my personal email instead of my business email address.

Change email address to resolve: Go to your Google Analytics page, under Admin > Account > Account access management - Make sure you have the right email listed there. If not go ahead and add it as Administrator. Delete any other email that's not supposed to be there.

Also I went under "My preferences" > Edit user settings - and changed email address there too (You will be redirected to your default google setting in your chrome browser).

After doing this I went back to my Shopify Analytics setup, refreshed the page and Voila! there it was. Hope this saves someone the headache.
