Why can't I add a name to my app extension?

Hello,

I am having an issue creating a post-purchase app extension.  I have done this in the past on my other work machine.  However, my new home machine is not allowing me to complete a step.  In command line after I select what type of extension I want to create it goes to the next step for me to name it.  I cannot enter a name or type anything at all.  Is anyone else having this issue?
