Why can't I connect my newly purchased domain on Shopify?

I have purchased a domain by credit card and it reflects in my billing history of shopify but when i try to connect it , i couldnt find it. Please help

Was this domain purchased through Shopify, or through a third party vendor like GoDaddy for example? 

If it was through Shopify - you should be able to find the domain in your store's admin under Settings > Domains. If you cannot see it there, then I would definitely advise reaching out to live support for their advice on where to find it. Our live support can be reached here. Please follow the prompts given by the virtual Help Center assistant in order to access our live chat support. 

If the domain was purchased through a third party vendor - you should be able to access the domain through the domain host dashboard. If you're struggling to find this, I'd advise reaching out to the domain host directly for their advice. Thank you!
