Why can't I reverify my Facebook/Instagram shops due to a sales limit?

Shopify is telling me that since I hit a sales limit I need to reverify my FB/ Instagram shops.  Then I hit the verification tap I get a response saying they are having a technical issue.  .  Been going on for a month.  What gives?
