Why doesn't my Node app come with a login/install page?

Is the Node app template supposed to come with a login/install page? (like in this screenshot)

 

I would like to be able to have my boss install the app on a store himself without logging into the partner account and using the 'test your app' section.

I am testing my app after deploying to a server and it runs fine otherwise. An older app I worked on (Ruby on Rails) had a login/install page so that is why I am asking. When I go to the app's url all I see is a 'no shop provided' message.
