Why is a removed app still auto-posting on my Facebook page?

I removed a auto post app but it's still posting on my facebook a picture of some tattooed guy in a greenish logo t-shirt. It's showing the back of the shirt. This is totally inappropriate for my quilting page. How can I get it to stop and why didn't it stop when I deleted the apps.

This started after the app was removed. It worked fine before that. Is this some sort of retaliation?

What is the name of the app you recently removed from your store?

If the app was installed from the Shopify App Store, you can contact the app developer to help you remove any of the code that may have been left behind in your store's theme. The app's listing page on the Shopify app Store will include contact information for the app developer.

While I don't know what may have caused the auto-posting to begin after the app was removed, I am sure that the app developer can help you investigate and resolve the issue. I'm sure they'll appreciate the report from you too, as it will help them improve their app going forward. I hope you're able to get this resolved soon.

I fixed it myself. Went into my facebook and made sure they were removed from the integration for my page. Very unbecoming of an app to post something so distasteful after being removed. I was going to try another then put them back but now I won't.

If you are still looking for an app that can post to Facebook for you, I recommend contacting the app developer so they can help you out. They will be able to investigate and troubleshoot to find out what happened and work to make sure it doesn't happen again.
