Why is my Facebook shop page showing as ineligible?

Hi all, I am trying to link my shop to Instagram and Facebook and I keep getting the following message on the Business Assets tab of the flow to set up my shop: "The shop linked to these assets is violating integrity policies and is not eligible to engage in this commerce operation."  I've checked my account permissions and my account health for both pages and I don't see any issues regarding violations.  What am I missing?

Nevermind.  I got it fixed. 

 

For anyone else with this issue, this is what I did:

 

Contacted Facebook (ha.) and they advised me that my page was connected to a preexisting Commerce Account.

How to deactivate your commerce account on Facebook and Instagram
To deactivate your commerce account:

  1. Go to Commerce Manager and select your shop.
  2. In the left-hand menu, click Settings.
  3. Click Edit in the top-right of the Commerce Account Info section.
  4. Click Deactivate Commerce Account.
  5. Enter your Facebook password and click Confirm.
  6. Choose an option from the Reason for Deactivating Account dropdown, or provide your own.
  7. Click Deactivate Account.

Once you deactivate your commerce account:

  • You won't have access to your shop or any existing orders.
  • Existing collections and shops will be removed.
  • Product tags are disabled.
  • Tax reports are inaccessible.
  • Existing sales channels will be disconnected.
  • These changes are permanent and cannot be reversed.

I am trying to do this now, however it doesn't come up with an option to actually deactivate my account? Just change the name/email?
Do you know if it's maybe moved?

Same issue here. FB told us to deactivate our shop and start over.

My solution was that I'd accidentally created 2 different commerce accounts. I had to deactivate the old commerce account. hope this helps.
