App reviews, troubleshooting, and recommendations
Just wanted to put this out in case any one was having similar issues or has had similar issues and fixed them in the past. We have noticed over the last week or so a few issues with our stock feed which is run by an app called "Stock Sync". We're not too sure when this started but the issue seems to be from the Stock Sync app updating the stock on a product in Shopify. We have never had a problem with this app before and everything from our accounting software, csv stock feed export on dropbox and even the Stock Sync logs are updated correctly but the physical product is not getting updated...
This has only been spotted on a couple of items that we have sold out of down to 0 so shouldn't be showing as in stock at all and that was how it was spotted, but there could be many more on our site that this has affected.
Any guidance on this and help on why this has happened would be much appreciated.

You can try checking the inventory history of those variants where you're seeing issues directly in the Shopify admin. It will give you a history of inventory changes and will also tell you which app or staff made the changes, so that might help you figure out what might have happened.
On the Variant page, there's a link "Adjustment history" that will give you the inventory history in the last 90 days:
There's a column "Adjusted by" which will give the name of the app or staff that made the adjustments.
