Why is my Venture theme slideshow malfunctioning on mobile devices?

I have the Venture theme for my Shopify store and the slideshow doesn't work properly.
I have it on auto rotate and there is a white box that appears every time the slides change.
Seems to be on mobile devices only. Very frustrating.!
Please help before I pull my hair out.

Thanks in advance for the replies.

Hey @Hoskins82.

Thanks for reaching out.

I appreciate that you have let us know what the theme you are using as well as the URL to your store, super helpful! I went ahead and tested the slideshows on my desktop and mobile device, I was not able to replicate the issue. It looks like the only white box that is appearing on both devices is the beginning of the next section. I took a screenshot of the section I am referring to:

You have a lovely store, by the way! Would you be able to screenshot the white box that you are noticing that appears on your mobile device? This context will allow me to better understand the issue and provide the next best steps to troubleshoot.

Looking forward to your reply.

The white block appears when the slide automatically changes. This only happens on mobile devices.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hey @Hoskins82.

Thanks for the quick reply and screenshot.

Looking back into the store, I allowed the slideshow to automatically change on my mobile device. I am unable to get the white box to appear on the slideshow using both iPhone and Android mobile devices like in the image you have shared above.

I would suggest attempting to clear the cache on the browser you are using. If the error persists, I would then suggest trying to use another browser to see if it is displaying the slideshow correctly. As for example, if you are using Safari - try this action on Google Chrome.

Let me know if that does the trick.

I tried what you suggested, and it has stopped the problem I was having.
But, won't my customer's have the same issue if they were to go back to my website via recent history, for example?
Thanks again for all your help.
I will click on "accept as solution" after. 🙂

Hey @Hoskins82.

No worries at all, happy to help out where I can.

That's a great question! In this case, that would be a factor that we cannot control. Since this error would come from the customers device or browser, we would not be able to control the outcome of how the customer views the online store. With that being said, all of our themes are regularly updated to allow the online store to be viewable on all browsers available.

If a customer contacts you about the speed of your store, then ask your customer to check that they're on the latest version of their browser and if they have recently cleared their cache. This will typically clear up any issues that their browser may experience.

Let me know if you have any additional questions.
