Why isn't my app flow trigger extension appearing in my non-dev store?

Hi, 

I'm developing my shopify app and I created a flow trigger extension. In my dev store I can select the trigger in the Shopify flow app and in the marketing automation flow but in my non-dev store I do not see my app trigger in the list of the available triggers. 
My app is published as custom app and installed in my non-dev store via custom link.
Can someone help me with this please?

I contacted the Shopify support and they told me that even in the doc is not written, it seems that flow triggers extensions behave in the same way as Shopify functions, so if the app is a custom app only Shopify Plus stores can use them. For non-Plus stores this functionalities are available only if the app is public. 
I'll develop a public app, as soon as I test it I'll report here if it works or not.
