Why isn't my Product Option Variants Option app working correctly?

I just purchased Product Option Variants Option but it is not working, or its user error and I have attempted to reach out by the email listed on the app. I have not heard back and I am short of time to update my shop. Does anyone know how I can reach them or anyone use this app that might be able to help?? I have my product price set (example $30)  and add on options . If i play with it and select all options and add to cart, it lists out (example $30 tee , $2 add on , $20 sweater) but the total cost is the set price ($30) not including the variants added (should be $52) ?? Not sure why ...
