Hello, I have a question. I'm new here and I noticed that the search bar doesn't work on my page, I type in an existing item but it shows as if it doesn't exist on my page, how can I fix it? Thank you for your time.

Without being able to see your store, it's difficult for me to establish what is happening. Would you mind sharing your website URL with me so I can take a closer look?
Or would you be able to share any images of the error you've been seeing when you try to use the search feature?
I would first suggest clearing your browser cache and then check your search function again. Without regular clearing of the cache, websites can sometimes display older products due to formatting errors, therefore not showing any recently updated products.

Is this something that has always occurred on your site, or did it recently start acting this way? It's highly possible that this could be related to your theme, have you made any changes to your theme code or added any new apps? If you've adjusted the code you should be able to roll most files back in the theme editor.
Before making any changes to the theme code I always like to suggest duplicating your theme. You can do this by going to Online Store>Actions>Duplicate. This way you'll have a backup.
If you haven't made any changes to the site, or the theme has always acted this way I would suggest reaching out to your theme developer. What's the name of the theme you currently have installed?
If you don't feel comfortable sharing your website URL, do you mind sharing a screen recording of what happens when you try to search for products within your store? Hello, I was having the same issue. Go to ‘products’ on the page where you’re editing your store, then click on a product and on the right side you should see “Product Category” make sure you’ve selected a category for each product, afterwards your search bar should work just fine!
