Why isn't the 'Visit Shop' button showing on my Instagram profile?

Our Shopify website is connected perfectly to FB and Instagram. Both FB and Instagram shops are active and populated. FB works perfectly (already had a couple of sales). I don't know how to get the "visit shop" button onto our Instagram profile. Yes, I've googled it for hours and tried everything. No, it's not the "action button" because there is no "visit shop" option. Yes, everything is connected (and has been for at least a week). Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you!

I'll try to help the best I can. I'm assuming your Instagram account is already a business account, correct?

Yes, it is. And the shop button has mysteriously appeared. "Only" took about a week after the store was set up. 🙂
