Why won't my Twitter connect to my ecommerce store?

I am trying to connect my Shopify account to Twitter to display my store. I have gone through all of the steps of the onboarding process. I then got an message that my Twitter session had ended and need to connect the accounts again. I click on the "connect account" button and get the sub window for Twitter. I then click on the "authorize app" button and then nothing happens. 

I have tried this in Microsoft Edge and Google. I have cleared the cache, I have restarted my computer, I even then tried to revoke the app access from Twitter to start fresh and reconnec the app from Shopif, but EVERY single time I just get a blank window when authorizing the app. Someone please help because Shopify seems to be useless to it's user base anymore when help is needed.

This issue isn't your fault, it's an issue with the Twitter app. I just installed the app on my test site, and was able to reproduce your issue. Below is a screenshot of some JavaScript errors that are preventing the Twitter account connection process from completing:

It's related to Shopify App Bridge. It's not possible to tell exactly what causes the "host" query parameter to be missing, but I know it's not your fault.

Thanks, I appreciate you confirming the issue and clarifying that it's not something on my end, but how do I fix it. I can't get the store to show on Twitter and we've had clients ask for this. Would be nice if Shopify had a help system.

Same issue here.  Nobody wants to support the integration on either side.  Quite frustrating.

Hey Tobebuilds, I've been trying to get this integration working for weeks now and twitter support said they know it's an issue, but have no info on when they will fix it. If you do build a twitter integration app, please let me know as I'd be interesting in using it
