Will I still be billed if I uninstall a malfunctioning app?

Hi,

 

Do I still get billed if I uninstalled an app? I found out that the DropX Dropshipping Philippines was removed from Shopify App Store. I used the app as Free-Trial for 7 days and it started to be a paid app last Dec 22 and I uninstalled it today, Dec 27 because I noticed that the app is not working properly. Their Facebook page and website are missing too that's why I decided to delete it on my Shopify though I can still see it in the billing cycle.

Hi @archividoriza 

 

If you have used the app more than their trial period then you might have to pay the charges, but if you installed it before the trial period ends, you won't have to pay for it.

 

In the worst-case scenario, if the amount still gets deducted, you can reach out to either app developers or Shopify Support to get the refund back from them.

Hi @archividoriza,

 

I believe you can contact Shopify Support in this case and ask if they could help you contact the app developer to ask for a refund. It also depends on the goodwill of the app developer and their policy. Hope you'll find a workaround for this.
