App reviews, troubleshooting, and recommendations
I am currently weighing the pros and cons of using a wishlist app versus building a custom solution for my store.
If you’ve already added a wishlist to your store: Did you go with an app, and if so, which one? Or did you build something custom, and was it worth the effort?
Would love to hear what worked best for your customers and if it actually helped with conversions or retention. Any advice or real examples would be super helpful!
Hi @HulkyZo ,
Are you looking to let customers save products they like (like a wishlist), or allow them to sign up for updates on sold-out or coming-soon products? If it’s about collecting interest or bringing shoppers back later, our app might be a good fit:
👉 Mini: Coming Soon | Waitlist
It’s built for Shopify merchants who want to easily offer wishlists or waitlists — no coding required. Whether you’re managing out-of-stock items, pre-launch products, or just want customers to keep track of favorites, it keeps things simple and flexible.
Here’s what the app can do:
Add a “Join the list” form to product pages
Collect emails for unavailable or upcoming items
Automatically notify customers when products are restocked
Integrates with Shopify Flow and Email
Can be used as a wishlist even when items are in stock
You can see how it looks in the screenshots below, or test it out on our demo store.
It’s a useful way to understand customer interest, increase return visits, and bring back sales — all without building a custom feature.
Let me know if you have any questions!
Best,
Zel
