Wishlist or Alert App Based on Keyword (not Product)

Anyone aware of an app that allows shoppers to create a wishlist or alert based on keywords rather than a specific product/inventory item? The use case is for a store that sells refurbished estate items, artwork, etc.  So each sku is almost always a one-off.  Shoppers want to get alerts/in-stock notices when items of a particular artist/designer/brand are available searched on content of the item name/description. The shopper would not be aware of a sku/inventory item that seems to be required for the wishlist apps that I have reviewed.
