Working with a client that loves Zapiet. A former developer has used the Dynamic Product Options app to customize orders and both work great independently.
The moment we try to "Make selections" such as cookie flavours, it overrides Zapiet's tagging system and suddenly we are getting shipping orders for NON-SHIPPABLE items that were otherwise properly coded.
For example, if you choose "assorted" which bypasses the DPO, the proper delivery method shows up.
At a loss here - any help welcome!
Hi @TheSisterBrand 👋 Always keep others in mind when explaining a problem, there's no context for what "Make selections" or "assorted" actually does and it's knock on effects.
Spitball , if the client loves app1 get rid of app2. Likely the app is using a custom draft order system or other workarounds so likely this isn't something that can be fixed on the frontend alone.
For third party apps and services contact those parties support system or forums.
When you combine apps not only may there be incompatible interoperability but your also making a business specific unicorn that will be difficult to find anyone with that exact same setup creating a massively ambiguous question.
Ask questions with a drastically narrow scope , what is the goal https://xyproblem.info/.
i.e. do you need a tagging system to retag o rders, see shopify flow or mechanic. , do you need to interface with those apps api's if any then show the work so far , etc etc.

For anyone looking for a solution, we ended up settling on Avis Product Options App, which doesn't interfere with the Zapiet checkout widget or cart drawers.
