Can I change the shop used with Shopify app-bridge?

When using the app bridge and its components like the resource-picker I am wondering if there is a way for me to change the store/host that the products come from?

As an app developer it is helpful to view your app as another store for debugging but when using app-bridge components it appears you can't load products from a store other than your own.

The App Bridge ResourcePicker will always pull products from the store that the app is being used on. There is no way to change out where the products come from.

I just want to clarify the question. Are you hoping to be able to swap out the products you see in the ResourcePicker with some test products rather than real products while testing your app?

Thanks. I assumed it wasn't possible to change where the products came from. There are other options like the "unstable picker" and the Polaris "resource-list" component. 

To clarify, I was hoping to swap out the products in the resource-picker with products from another store. This is for an admin support mode for installed stores
