URGENT - Shopify not sending POS Link Extension to Link Target URL

My Shopify POS link extension ( https://shopify.dev/docs/apps/pos/links ) randomly stopped sending those that tap the POS app to the link specified. I've tried to change that extension's link target URL and even tried to create a whole new POS link extension.

It is instead redirecting to my App URL that merchants access my app (not the POS app) through with all the parameters (hmac, host, etc) appended to the URL. This randomly happened in the middle of the day without anything being changed on my side.

Has anyone experienced this / is there a solution? The POS links have one purpose and it's to send the user to the target URL and it isn't doing that.

We have an app using the POS extension as well. The app is not embedded and Shopify POS is embedded. It was working recently then yesterday we encountered an issue where our main APP_URL is being loaded instead of the POS_URL. There is also a red "Server Error" notification when the POS tile is selected. If we make the app embedded in the app settings then it loads the correct POS_URL. But our app is not embedded of course and it was working before.

Update on this - support told me that it was an issue on Shopify's end and that the technical team fixed it. As of 4:15 PM EST I am still having this issue upon trying to create new POS links, and with my old POS links.

Hello,

For me it is still not working on 05-30-2023. I have even tried to create a new shopify developer account and a new test store and still it is not working. I tried to put the Google URL in the actions links (Admin and POS) and both of them are sending app insall links.

I have been waiting 2 months for this problem to be fiexed and still nothing.
