2.0 Dawn, footer columns too wide

I succeeded in customizing the footer menu elements (like paddings), but I can't narrow the columns…

What I understand is that it has some connexion with "row-gap" or ".grid--4-col-tablet .grid__item", but can't make it right.

A simple "column-gap" could be insterted somewhere ?
