Accidentally deleted my header and footer section, how do I get it back?!? (Please help me!)

I was trying to create a landing page by hiding my header and footer and somehow deleted them instead, and I didn't realise I had done something so dumb until I had pressed save.

When I go into Themes > Customize the Header or Footer sections are no longer visible, nor can I ad them back in as a section or anything like that. It is like they don't exsist.

Saw a couple of fixes for similar problems that said you have look at the code so I went to Themes > three dots > Edit code > sections > and the header.liquid and footer.liquid files are still there and full of code. They also both say "No recent changes File does not have any other versions" so maybe that's not where the problem is?

I'm on Dawn theme. 

Please if anyone can help me get back my header and footer I would be so grateful!

In whatever I did some background colours from certain section blocks has also gone, obviously I can add these back in but I just thought it was a bit odd and might shed some light on what has happened...
