Add a gift wrap option to my cart page

hello, i want to add a gift wrapping option to my cart page, like the picture below, and when they tick the box an extra 10$ will be added to their total.
Please note that i tried the method provided by shopify and it didnt work!

@Thecozyliving that guide is for vintage themes, it has to be adapted for modern OS2.0 themes as an advanced theme customization.

If you need this customization for a cart page, and or a cart-drawer, etc then contact me for services.
