Add a second image inline with image-with-text heading

I want to add a customisable second image block to the 'image-with-text' section, where the yellow outline is. Needs to be inline with the heading.

So far I have added this code to the sections/image-with-text.liquid file, but nothing comes up in the editor or the preview:

I am using the Taste theme.

If code is for block then it should be 

block.settings.small_image not section.settings.small_image

This is what I'm getting now. While I can select an image, it still does not appear in the editor or preview.
