Add gift wrap option to cart (Local Theme)

We just migrated to a new theme and lost our cart gift wrap checkbox (switched from the Turbo theme to the Local theme). 

I'm looking to get the option back and when customers opt for the gift wrapping, add a the gift wrap product (+$6) to their cart.
