Add plain text to footer Brooklyn theme

Hi all.

I want to add plain text into the footer to include an Acknowledgment of Country on my site www.olasol.com.au. Using Brooklyn theme. Can someone tell me how and where I need to alter the code? Thanks

1. Go to Online Store->Theme->Edit code
2. Sections->footer.liquid scroll down to bottom 
Just before this code

Paste this one and change content a/to your need.

Great, thanks. I wanted it above the footer menu and social links so I added it in line 3. Thanks for your solution.
