Add "explore more" or "read more" button to each product item in a collection list

I'd like to add "explore more" or "read more" for each product item under my collection list. 

Had tried by adding some code to theme.liquid and the main-collection/collection-list.liquid files. But it does not work. And did not find the card-product.liquid file. 

Any feedback would be most appreciated!

What you're asking for can be done with JavaScript, but could you provide a full-screen screenshot of the relevant area? This way, we can avoid making any misplaced additions.
