Add 'Special Requests' to order confirmation email

Hello!

As with most Shopify stores, when a customer places their order, they will receive an order confirmation, and I have used the template provided by Shopify. However, I have a section on my cart allows people to leave a gift note that  can be included with their order. Is there any way I can show the gift note in the order confirmation?
