Shopify themes, liquid, logos, and UX
Hi!
I'm using the PALO ALTO theme and I would like to show the vendors names on my product in the collection pages, just like sephora (see the image).
I can't seem to find the option anywhere.

So login to your store. Go to settings ----> Users and permissions. There you will find a collaborator request code. You have to send it to me along with your store url.
I can request access from you using that code. You will have the option to choose what access to grant me and what not to, i will probably just need access to the code editor unless you have other requirements. When you accept my request i will be able to login and edit code.
Well if the customizer does not provide you an option to show product vendor then you will have to add code to your theme editor.
But please check, I mean almost every theme that I know and have worked with gives this option. Please double check in your collection page template from the customizer, it will be a check box with the text show product vendor.
No I don't have the option unfortunately, as you can see in the screenshots linked.
Could you help me with the coding part?
Will definitely take a look.
Even if the customizer does not allow this, its pretty easy to be honest.
{{ product.vendor }} This is what you need to add in your product file in theme code editor. You just have to find the right place to put this. Please name the theme you are using may be i am using one and i can guide you through. Try it if you have trouble applying it, let me know i will still try to help you.
the theme I'm using is Palo Alto
I know how to work this out. But i will need collaborator access to your store since palo alto isnt a free theme and i am on a development store so i wont be able to edit code from my dev store.
ok just tell me how to add you as a collaborator and I'll do it! Thank you 🙂
