Shopify themes, liquid, logos, and UX
Hi,
I am having issues with implementing an embedded form that I created in Klaviyo. I should be able to copy the code from Klaviyo and paste it directly into a new Shopify page. But - due to my website having a vintage customized theme, it's not working. I've contacted Shopify customer service and they recommended I inquire here before hiring a Shopify expert. Klaviyo does provide instructions on how to add an embedded form to a vintage theme, but the requirement is to add a "section"....and I can't even do that in my theme. Boo! Is there a workaround to this?
Kindly, AM
That's good to hear! What's the workaround? 😉
I would prefer to do the workaround on my own. Are you able to share the steps? It doesn't seem like it would be that complicated, right?
Hi @Anka_Brimful ,
You try to refer this article https://help.klaviyo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360006897412#01H7ZC0C6QGB1WMDVR23A0RCZQ.
They said " These instructions apply to both Shopify vintage themes and Shopify 2.0 themes. "
Hi, thanks for the link. I had already looked at this prior to posting here - bc the instructions for vintage theme aren’t applicable to my theme. Boo! I’m looking for a way to add the embedded form that hasn’t already been documented by Klaviyo or Shopify. Customer service suggested I post here for further help. Fingers crossed I can find someone who knows tips for working with my ancient theme. 😉
