Adding a Sliding Announcement Bar to an Older Version of the Prestige Theme

I’m currently using an older version of the Prestige theme (version 5.6.2), which is live on my website. I also have the latest version of the theme and really like its announcement bar because it’s dynamic and slides.

Is there a way to add the same sliding effect and style to my old version? I can’t update the entire theme since that would require extensive customization, which is too much work. I tried copying the announcement.liquid code from the new version to my old one, but it didn’t work.

Can anyone help me with this please ?
